Upon the arrival of all tour participants, we gather for a warm welcome session. The evening’s agenda is centered around fostering connections as we get to know each other better. We share a delightful dinner together, embracing the true spirit of American hospitality. For those with lingering energy after the long journey, an option to visit a nearby local bar awaits, providing an opportunity to continue the camaraderie in a relaxed setting.

(Driving day 1: 212 km/132 miles)

We kick off the day with an informative meeting dedicated to the Easy Rider Coast to Coast Tour, covering essential details about the journey ahead, including practical information and preparations for motorcycle and car rental checkout. With the briefing concluded, our Coast to Coast Cross Continent adventure officially begins!

Once everyone is geared up and ready on their bikes, we embark on our epic journey. Leaving Los Angeles behind, we head south for a captivating adventure filled with history, excitement, and fun. The first day of riding encompasses a mix of cityscapes, highways, and a delightful journey along the renowned Pacific Coast Highway 1 towards vibrant San Diego. The initial stretch allows everyone to acclimate to California’s driving conditions and temperatures. About 30 minutes into the ride, our first stop in Long Beach provides an opportunity for an additional security check of bikes, equipment, and drivers before our tour truly commences.

Anticipate a delicious lunch at Ruby’s Diner in Laguna Beach, where old-fashioned milkshakes come highly recommended! From there, we continue our journey straight to San Diego. Upon arrival, we visit Historic Old Town, check into the hotel, and spend the remainder of the day exploring everything this vibrant city has to offer, including must-visit attractions like the USS Midway, Maritime Museum, Little Italy, and Old Town.

(Driving day 2: 362 km/225  miles)

Prepare for an exhilarating day of riding! We kick off the day with an unforgettable journey along the renowned Old Hwy 80 and Historic Hwy 94, offering a blend of winding roads and breathtaking scenery. As we ride in close proximity to the Mexican border, witness firsthand the extensive resources the US allocates to safeguard its boundaries, including passing through a checkpoint. Our route then takes us to the Desert View Tower, providing an awe-inspiring panorama of the valley, where we pause for lunch in Calexico, near the Mexican border.

The second half of the day promises nothing short of spectacle. We navigate through the Imperial Sand Dunes, providing a rare and unique experience of riding in a genuine sand desert. The adventure continues as we make our way to Yuma, where the evening unfolds in the charming historic district, offering a delightful atmosphere to cap off the day’s remarkable journey.

Our next destination is the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, where we’ll enjoy lunch in the vicinity of the Space Age Lodge in Gila Bend. Upon reaching downtown Tucson, we’ll have the opportunity for some authentic cowboy shopping at Boot Barn.

(Driving day 4: 270  km/170 miles)

Welcome to another day of traversing awe-inspiring motorcycle routes. We kick off the day with an exhilarating ride to the summit of Mt. Lemmon at an elevation of 2,792m. This delightful journey guarantees a smile on your face all the way to the mountain’s peak. After reaching the summit, we pause for a refreshing drink and to savor the breathtaking view. Our route then takes us through Coronado National Forest, immersing us in the charm of the old Wild West. We’ll eventually arrive at the renowned western city of Tombstone, where we’ll explore iconic sites such as the O.K. Corral—famous for the gunfight between the Earp brothers and the Clantons—Boot Hill, and the legendary Big Nose Saloon.

(Driving day 5: 460 km/290 miles)

Our journey through the old Wild West continues as we explore the famed western town of Bisbee. Next on our itinerary is a visit to the Geronimo surrender monument, situated in close proximity to the location where Geronimo surrendered—an event that marked the end of Indian warfare in the United States. Our route then leads us to Columbus, the historical site of the Pancho Villa raid and his death mask.

Following the historical trail along the Mexican Border, we ride to El Paso, where we’ll experience the exhilarating Scenic Drive. Pausing at the mountain viewpoint, we’ll enjoy a panoramic vista spanning two states—Texas and Mexico. Our ride includes a visit to Barnett’s Harley Davidson, which boasts the world’s largest selection of Harley Davidson motorcycles.

(Driving day 6: 470 km/294 miles)

Our day begins with a scenic drive to the Salt Flats, where we’ll also make a stop at the Salt Flat Café. We then proceed through Davis Mountains State Park, embarking on a spectacular journey by Mt. Livermore en route to Fort Davis and eventually making our way to Alpine.

Today is devoted to the exploration and enjoyment of the stunning Big Bend National Park. We’ll traverse the entire park, visiting various viewpoints along the way, so keep your cameras at the ready! Given the warm temperatures, please dress accordingly to ensure a comfortable experience.

(Driving day 8: 334 km/208 miles)

Prepare for another thrilling day riding through the Wild West as we journey across Texas. Our first stop brings us to the legendary saloon of Judge Roy Bean, famously known as “the law west of Pecos.” Following this, we explore the beautiful Seminole Canyon, renowned for its numerous archaeological artifacts. Our route then takes us directly to Del Rio, where we indulge in a wine-tasting experience at the local Val Verde Winery.

(Driving day 9: 321 km/200 miles)

We depart from Del Rio, ascending into the Texas mountains. Our journey includes a pit stop in Camp Wood before tackling the renowned Three Sisters, making several stops along the way. Note: Be mindful of fellow bikers who have also embarked on this fantastic ride through these iconic US motorcycle roads. Once we’ve taken in the beauty of the Three Sisters, and secured our patches and T-shirts, we proceed to Leakey. There, we enjoy lunch at a popular biker bar before concluding the day in San Antonio, relishing the evening ambiance of the enchanting River Walk.

Today, we depart from the inland and set our course for the breathtaking coastal shores of the United States. As we reach Surfside Beach, we’ll embark on a scenic ride along the coastal beaches, ultimately arriving in the vibrant coastal and vacation destination of Galveston.

Our journey along the stunning coast and shores persists. We board a local ferry, immersing ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of Gilchrist and Pecan Island. Subsequently, we turn inland, setting our course towards the enchanting destination of New Iberia.

Today is dedicated to exploring the captivating Louisiana swamps and getting up close and personal with alligators. Our journey south leads us to the heart of the swamps for a boat tour guided by a Cajun expert, who will feed wild, free-roaming alligators right before your eyes. Brace yourself for an exhilarating and unforgettable experience!

After our swamp adventure, we resume our scenic coastal ride to the legendary city of New Orleans. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel nestled in the iconic French Quarter. Once everyone is settled into their rooms, we gather for a delightful dinner on the renowned Bourbon Street. The evening unfolds in true New Orleans style, offering a taste of one of the most exciting and vibrant cities in the United States.

Today, we delve into the enchanting tapestry of New Orleans, a city renowned for its captivating history and diverse influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and beyond. Immerse yourself in the vibrant mosaic of culture, delectable cuisine, and soul-stirring music that defines this extraordinary place. From savory plates of gumbo to the lively rhythms of jazz and blues, historic neighborhoods to year-round festivals, New Orleans offers an unparalleled experience.

Our day begins with an optional guided bus tour, providing a comprehensive overview of the city’s iconic attractions and rich history. Following this, we set sail on the majestic Mississippi River aboard the historic steamer boat Natchez, where we also indulge in a delightful lunch.

As the evening unfolds, we continue to savor the atmosphere of Bourbon Street, immersing ourselves in the soulful melodies of blues and jazz emanating from its numerous clubs. A visit to “The House of The Rising Sun” comes highly recommended, promising a unique and enriching experience.

Our journey unfolds along the picturesque Gulf shores and the tranquil expanse of the Mexican Gulf, traversing the states of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Our route guides us through charming harbors, across iconic bridges, and past serene landscapes in Moss Point, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Bay St. Louis. Along the way, we pause for an intriguing visit to the historic battleship USS Alabama.

Continuing our adventure, we set our course for Destin, where the evening promises to be delightful on the vibrant wharf. Enjoy the coastal ambiance and soak in the serenity of the surroundings as we embrace the beauty of this Gulf Coast gem.

Our day unfolds with another exhilarating ride along the enchanting Florida coast and its pristine beaches. We begin our journey tracing the scenic shorelines of Mexico Beach and Panama City Beach, absorbing the sun-kissed beauty of the Gulf of Mexico. As we traverse the Apalachicola National Forest, the lush landscapes unfold, providing a picturesque backdrop to our adventure.

Our final destination for the day is Homosassa, where a joyful evening awaits us at a local bar. Relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere as we toast to the day’s unforgettable experiences.

Our adventure through the Sunshine State kicks off as we bid farewell to Homosassa. Our journey eastward brings us to the world-renowned Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, offering a captivating insight into the origins and evolution of the Drag Racing sport. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this thrilling pastime.

Continuing our exploration, we make our way to Daytona Beach, just in time for Biketoberfest. Cruise down the iconic Main Street, savoring the vibrant atmosphere, and capture the moment below the legendary Daytona “Biker” Beach sign. It’s a day filled with motorcycling history and the lively spirit of Daytona’s renowned biking culture.

Embarking on the renowned “Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail,” a captivating 50 km double loop that winds through the enchanting landscapes of Northeast Florida, we enter a realm unlike any other ride. Revel in the liberating feeling of freedom, bask in the Florida sunshine, and navigate the open roads with graceful curves—a dream come true for every motorcycle enthusiast. The journey promises a comfortable ride, perfect for those who relish an open highway amidst Florida’s natural beauty.

Our ride culminates with a visit to Destination Daytona, home to the world’s largest Harley Davidson dealer, Bruce Ross Meyer, boasting a sprawling showroom spanning 109,000 sq. ft. Here, we indulge in a delightful lunch, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. As we embark on the final leg, returning our bikes/cars, let’s celebrate the safe and memorable journey we’ve shared throughout this exhilarating and eventful tour.

Farewell to the thrilling adventure of America’s Coast to Coast Expedition, Orlando, and the memories we’ve created. As a group, we journey back to the airport via shuttle, cherishing the camaraderie and the fantastic ride we’ve shared.
